Remembrance Day

Sister Catherine Donnelly School will be having a Remembrance Day Service on Friday November 9th at 11:15 am. Parents and visitors are welcome to join us.
Sister Catherine Donnelly School would like to invite students and families to honour relatives, both past and present, that have served in the Canadian Armed Forces, Navy or Air Force by bringing in family artefacts, photographs or memorabilia to be put on display in our front foyer during Veterans Week. If you have anything that would make our Remembrance Day celebration authentic for our students, we would love to borrow them. These items will be used for a visual display only. Please label your items with the student’s name and the relationship to the family. (ie: War medals from Corporal Smith, served in WWII, John Smith’s Great Grandfather). Thank you in advance for allowing us to share in your family’s pride and acknowledgement of Canadian peace keeping missions around the world.
