NEWS FROM THE PEWS:
1. FIRST COMMUNION/FIRST RECONCILIATION REGISTRATION -
a reminder to all parents of students in Grade 2 and up, the deadline for registering your child for the Sacrament of First Communion/First Reconciliation, for this spring, is Sunday, January 15th. Forms can be dropped in the collection basket at all masses this weekend.
2. FIRST COMMUNION INTERVIEW OF CANDIDATES - parents of First Communion/First Reconciliation students are also reminded to contact the Church Office to book an interview time through Susan, Parish Secretary, at: [email protected] or Pastoral Associate, Mickie Oakes, at 705-728-2985 ext.110. This interview is a necessary step in the process of your child's readiness for these sacraments. (Interviews will last 10 - 15 minutes and will be conducted from January 16th through to April 7th.. The focus of this meeting will be the 2-page Question and Answer Interview Sheets). Call or email today if you haven't done so already!
3. SPRING CONFIRMATION - PARENT MEETING FOR GRADE 7 & 8 STUDENTS -
Mark your calendar! You are invited to attend a Parent Information Meeting on Wednesday, February 8th to receive the Registration Package, for your son or daughter to be Confirmed in June 2017. Come to St. Mary's Church and attend Wednesday evening mass at 7pm, meeting will follow the mass. Students are welcome to attend with you. Confirmation will be conferred by Bishop Wayne Kirkpatrick on two dates: June 3rd and June 7th, 2017.
